How it works

  1. Pick your script

Choose from 25 scripts sorted by who’s asking and what they want. Each comes in warm, firm, and short.

  2. Practice with a role-play partner

Say it out loud, or type it. The partner pushes back so you can practice holding your line.

  3. Use it in real life, low stakes first

Start with a store clerk or a newsletter. Work up to the asks that matter most.

The 21-day ladder

You start where it’s easy. The stakes rise as you practice.

Each day has one small real-world rep. Missed a day? Pick up where you left off, or swap it for a lower-stakes rung.

  1. Days 1–7 · Low stakes

    A store clerk, a newsletter

Day 3: “Decline a store’s add-on offer with one sentence.”

  2. Days 8–14 · Medium stakes

    A friend, a coworker

    Day 12: “Say no to a coworker’s non-urgent ask.”

  3. Days 15–21 · High stakes

    Family, your boss

Day 19: “Use your pause line with the person you picked.”

Role-play partner

Practice the pushback before the real one.

Your AI partner plays the person asking. It pushes back the way people usually do, and you practice saying the same calm words again.

  • Repeat asks
